There were 2 types of games sold in the US back in the day, the HuCard and the CDROMs. If you had purchased the basic TG16 base unit (I think it was $100), you would have had to purchase the upgrade CDROM player (was it 150 or 200?) which came with a modified HuCard (called a Super System Card) to put in the HuCard slot.
